EdGEL is a collaborative development between Information Services and Communications and Marketing, supporting best practice in the promotion of the University brand.  EdGEL is a design system with guidelines and documentation for how to build your web application’s user interface to conform with both the University’s style guide and legal responsibilities.  EdGEL aims to provide a common, high quality user experience across the University’s web estate.  A Bootstrap theme which implements EdGEL is maintained to ease adoption across a wide range of sites.  Packages based on this Bootstrap theme are also provided to users at the University for frameworks such as Django and Drupal.
